Konica Minolta to celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 by unifying employees across the globe

| 8 March 2021

Konica Minolta will be hosting a first of its kind global panel discussion to celebrate the achievements of women across its organisation, to coincide with International Women's Day on Monday 8th March. International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global celebration of women's social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments, which closely aligns to Konica Minolta’s own passion to drive a more inclusive workplace now and in the future.

"For this year’s IWD, the organisation is excited to be part of a global initiative which brings together the talents and thoughts of women in our organisation. The panel deliberately consists of representatives from across the globe, demonstrating that despite different languages and cultures, we share the same vision for equality." said Juliane Frenzel, Head of People & Culture at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH.
The panel will be directed by Shoei Yamana, President/CEO at Konica Minolta Inc and has been shaped by input from Asia, Europe, and the US. It will engage business leaders from around the world with different experiences in discussing the importance of a diverse workforce to the future of Konica Minolta and the tech industry, and how we can create a more equal workplace. Juliane Frenzel concludes, "We have supported IWD for a number of years but are particularly excited to be making this symbolic show of unity in 2021. With the whole world reeling from the global pandemic and its likely aftermath, it has never been more important for leadership to be fully inclusive. Konica Minolta wants to attract a diverse talent base and to ensure that its employees can always reach their full potential, free of any bias or limitations."
